In the southern part of the island is located the famous black beach named Perissa, which is 9 kilometers far from the center of Santorini.
Pension Evelina is located 50 meters from the sea in the busiest beach of the island in Perissa with furnished rooms, individual bathroom, refrigerator, satellite linked color tv, roof ventilation, double and single beds, porches and hot water. Additionally (upon request) there is air-conditioning and fully equipped kitchen.

Pension Evelina is located in the center of this beach area next to tourist shops, super market, travel agencies, restaurants and very close to the bus station where you can visit the islands' villages, like the traditional Emporio with its Venetian castle, the volcano, the Akrotiri the ancient town that remained untouched hundreds of years under the lava, Oia with the most beautiful sunshine and the Fira with the famous kaldera view.
Along the beach (over 3 kilometers length) there are famous beach bars (Chilli-Yazz etc.), outdoor discotheque, coffee places as well as taverns, restaurants and tourist shops.
All the tourists can join daily the black sand, water sports (jet ski, water cycling), beach volley, diving, balloon, and excursions in the volcano and in the near islands.
