Calypso ship was built in Perama shipyard. It is unique at its kind, with a glass bottom and also unique at the Aegean Sea.

It has a total length of 22 meters, 7 meters width, 2 meters draught and 16 meters of glass bottom with a glass 8 centimeters thick.
It is equipped with two DAEWOO main engines of total horsepower 400 horses and two electric motors with a continuous supply of 220 Volt. The average speed is 10 nautical miles per hour. The boat disposes two comfortable decks for 200 passengers, bar and 4 WCs.

It departures daily to unforgettable cruises that give you the possibility to get to know Santorini island inside and outside water.

Calypso sails daily at 10:45 from Athinios, the old port of Fira.

First destination is the Nea Kammeni island, where you can visit the active volcano crater.

In Palaia Kameni you can swim into the hot (sulphureous) waters that have been developed in the island.
Next, you have the possibility for lunch and sea bathing at the traditional island of Thirassia. Here, it is worth visiting the capital of island, Manolas village. Right after our departure from Thirassia, you have the possibility of seeing a ledge of unique interest through the 16 sq. meters of the glass bottom boat.

Finally, the return trip concludes to a little stop in Oia village, for passengers who wish to stay there and the boat continues returning to the Fira port, giving the chance to take shots of caldera.
