Astro Hotel is a very pleasent accomodation that is ideally situatuated just off the main beach front in Kamari. It is modern, bright and cheerful inside. The rooms are a suitable size and cleaned daily. Astro has its own pool and jacuzzi along with pool bar which is open throughout the day making it a great place to chill out during the day when you are not visiting the beach or the islands beautiful attractions. This is an ideal location if you want a peaceful holiday base with everything you will need within a short walking distance.

Have only just returned from this absolutely amazing island!(August 2005)This was my first time to Santorini and i completely fell in love with the place!Very romantic and great fun,we did everything from;climbing the volcano, bathing in the hot springs, exploring Thira and Oia (Oia Is a must!!!),wine tasting, climbing to Ancient Thira, traditional Greek dancing, i could go on all day! We stayed in the Astro Hotel, a lovely little hotel, very comfortable with very friendly staff, we felt like we'd made a home on this island paradise. The hotel is also very well situated, only a hundred or so metres from Kamari beach. It is also close to a very lovely bakery where we found ourselves eating many a baklawa! If you're wanting to go to a Greek island and you want something different, definatly go to Santorini.
