Me and my husband stayed at Goulielmos hotel during July 2006. We made a lastminute reservation and it was the first hotel responded with availability. We were lucky. It is a typical family hotel and the rates are good for Santorini. We had a standard double room with caldera view and really enjoyed our stay. Koula is a great host, helped us rent a car and the cruise to the volcano and was always there to assist us. The only thing about Akrotiri is that you need a car. Bus service is fine, but in July and August full. All in all a great family hotel at a great price.
