Fabulous pace and wonderful people . We stayed for a week in May ,2013 . We loved every day of it The property and it's location is beautiful . The real highlight is the staff . They treat you like royalty . Nothing is too much . Even after we were home for a couple of months and we had a problem getting a Fira merchant ( Jupiter) to deliver us some ceramics that we'd paid for , the manager's husband went into town and spoke to them for us . We just can't say enough about this place and these people .

We stayed at the Anastasis for a week in mid July and it was truly gorgeous. We wanted to stay in the white suite for the whole week but it wasnt free for the first three nights so we stayed in 3 different rooms(!) and were given a discount for the inconvenience!

We were greeted by the lovely, friendly owner, Despina, who showed us to our room for the first night. We were told this was a normal studio and so were expecting something not to so great, but were pleasantly surprised by the size of the room, and the bathroom. The only minus for this room was the lack of a view as it was at the back of the apartment block. However, everything was spotless, and they had even put a bottle of ice cold mineral water in the fridge for us. The bed was lovely and comfortable (and large!) too.

We were greeted with a complimentary glass of wine and an ice cold beer brought to us out on the deck, by the amazing infinity pool, whilst we were taking in the view for the first time.

Next day whilst we were being moved to a superior apartment by the staff, we took breakfast up on the fabulous new terrace by the new jacuzzi. Continental breakfast was lovely, breads, greek yoghurt with honey or a ham and cheese toast, freshly squeezed orange juice, coffee, and cake! The american breakfast was huge - with all that plus omelettes. Breakfast was served until 12.30 on your terrace, which was great. We didnt get hungry again until late evening.

The superior apartment again was spotless, the caldera view was fantastic - amazing sunsets.

We moved again(!) to the white suite on the top floor. Wow. Split level apartment with the kitchen and living area downstairs, bedroom, bathroom and terrace upstairs. We had the amazing novelty of watching the sunset from our (huge) private terrace and then from the bathroom window, watching sunrise over the other side of the island in the morning - truly amazing.

The coastal path to Imerovigli and Fira is right outside the apartments. Imerovigli is 10 mins away uphill, Fira about another 30 mins. Or the bus comes every half hour. Skaros fish taverna in Imerovigli is very good.

Overall - highly recommended. Lovely service, combined with beautiful views in a peaceful setting, yet near enough to the action if you want it.
