When trying to choose a place to stay on Santorini, we set several criteria: 1. Not too close to a major road or night club so that we can sleep at night. 2. Close to a beach. 3. Close to restaurants. 4. Clean. 5. Airconditioning. 6. Private bathroom. 7. We don't need a swimming pool. 8. Inexpensive. The Glaros Guest House on Perivolos Beach fit our needs perfectly. It is on a side street just inland of the beach road and a public parking lot. It is quiet yet within a short walk of the beach and many restaurants and shops. It is very clean. Thanos, the proprietor, was very helpful with advice on where to eat and what to see on the island. Breakfast is available for an extra fee. We appreciated this on the first morning of our visit before we had learned what restaurants were nearby. If you want to spend your vacation hanging out on a pool deck or in a bar, you should stay at one of the all-inclusive resorts on the island. If you want to spend your vacation exploring the island, the Glaros Guest House would be a good choice for you.

Ok, if u ever go to Santorini, you have to enjoy view in Kaldera. But, you'll have to pay a lot of money. So, if u act smart, u will have a chance to pay much less by staying (for example) in Perivolos, which is 15 minutes away from Foira and Foirosrtefani.

We stayed for 6 days in Glarros guest house and i have to admit that we enjoy most our time there.
Clean and cosy appartments with nice little things inside, very warm and polite room service, and of course, the key-man: Thanos!
The owner of Glaros appartments made almost everything easy for us. Where to eat (not expensive, but good), where to swim, what to see, where to drink, where to dance, everything someone needs in a place that he visits for the first time. And we will come again, that's for sure!!!!!!!

I higlhy recomment Glaros Guest House, located in Perivolos Beach in santorini for those who are seeking spacious and sparkling clean studios just 20 meters from the Perivolos beach! I would like to really thank Thanos Prounarou, our host, who told us about the islands history the places we really ought to visit!!! We had a wonderfull time !!! Anna + Junior
