My husband and I went to the museum on May 15, 2009. We had just visited Akrotiri so it was perfect. Nice museum. The wall paintings and all the items they excavated are beautiful. It only costs about 3 euros per person. Don't miss it.

Excellent

These paintings are so beautiful, words cannot describe them. They are quite moving to look at in their simplicity, the colours are wonderful. Its incredible to think what else there is to find out about these people.

A trip to Santorini would not be complete without seeing the houses at Akrotiri and the wall paintings.

The paintings are housed in Fira Town in the Archaeological Museum.
