Memorial Plaque for Jacques-Yves Cousteau in Santorini

On August 20 the son of the famous French oceanographer Jacques-Yves Cousteau, Pierre-Yves Cousteau, dived into the sea of Santorini and placed in a cave at a depth of seven meters a plaque in memory of his father. The memorial plaque was immersed today at 11:30 in Santorini, Greece in a cave at 7m depth between good friends and admirers of the Captains life.
Pierre-Yves Cousteau dived along with Alexander Reichardt, who is also the plaque creator.
The son of Jacques-Yves Cousteau during his stay in Santorini founded the third Cousteau Divers Diving Center in the world. The mission of this divers center is to ensure the marine environment.
