Santorini well renowned all over the world for its unspoilt beauty, is believed to be the most magical of all the Greek islands. The history of the island is shrouded in mystery -it is believed that Santorini island may actually have been cut off the lost island of Atlantis- and it's here that the HOTEL MUSEUM is situated, a place with its own special history.
The great grand father of the present owner's family was a consul (when Oia was the prosperous capital of the island) and the being the owner of the most beautiful mansion of the village. He offered his hospitality to kings (Othon and Amalia), officials and other celebrities. The mansion was seriously damaged during the 1956 earthquake. Later on, it became a museum and has recently been restored and turned into a hotel.
While still maintaining it's former elegant appeal the building of HOTEL MUSEUM has been tastefully refurnished and is now a luxury hotel to suit the tastes of demanding guests.
The work of prominent artists, combined with the excellent furniture and fittings further enchance the hotel's aesthetic beauty. Every step has been taken to ensure the guests utmost satisfaction.
