The restaurant "Selene" was established in Fira, the island's capital in 1986; since then it has been operating on a daily basis from the beginning of April until the mid - November. 100 guests can be accommodated inside and 250 on the terraces. In addition to our a la carte menu we also cater for a wide variety of functions, such as weddings, receptions etc either within the restaurant premises, or in other locations e.g. the island's Conference center, local wineries etc. We also offer cooking lessons in Santorinian and Greek cuisine.
Since the very start, our effort has been while adopting current gastronomical trends to highlight the exceptional and unique character. The cultivation and development of traditional local products has been another one of our aims, while excellent service to our clients has been our constant concern. The same thinking underlies our work for receptions and our catering operations. Within the time limits of a convention, seminar or other national or mainly, international gathering, we try to bring the participants into contact with the culinary traditions of the island. We are gratified that our clientele, who spans from the casual visitor to connoisseurs, has, amply appreciated our efforts; and have paid us extensive tribute én both the Greek and foreign press.
