This was so beautiful and meticulously restored. The service was very good, and Chris was very helpful with anything we needed or wanted. The views were spectacular. It was just like walking into one of those glossy travel magazine spreads. The only downside was the about 100 stairs one has to navigate everytime you come or go. Not a problem for us, but definately not for anyone who has any physical disabilities. There is a man who will meet you at the top and take your luggage down and back up. Let me tell you, he is in shape!!

Unique place, a beautiful tranquility surrounds these great verandas, and spectacular views. Got exactly what I came for, best relaxing holidays I've had. Thanks!

The Altana is one of those best kept secrets. Only 11 rooms, but each is unique, built into the rocks. Continental breakfast was very ample. I'm returning next summer.
