We had our wedding reception at the Pyrgos on the 1st June 2006. We used the private room which has just recently been built. It was furnised beautifully and offered panaramic views of the island. We opted for a traditional greek buffet meal which was very nice. The service was excellent and the staff very friendly and professional. It was a fantastic place to celebrate with our family and friends on our special day. Thanks to everyone at the Pyrgos!

We got married in Santorini on May 26, 2006. The ceremony took place at the Santo-Winery and afterwards we went to Pyrgos Taverna for our reception (dinner&party). Pyrgos Taverna offers a great variety of Greek food. We choose to have a buffet; all dishes were excellent!!!! The staff were really friendly and helpful!! A bonus is their new terrace (we were the very first people to use it), which allows you to sit outside and enjoy dinner with an astonishing view!! They even provided us their music-installation for our party afterwards. They had a great deal in what our evening turned out to be ... FANTASTIC!!

After a truly wonderful wedding ceremony which took place at Santo Winery we were all escorted to Pyrgos Taverna were the staff were extremely friendly and helpful. The food is wonderful and the view is outstanding. I would recommend this venue for a perfect reception to anyone.

Could things get more mindblowing after the perfect discrete wedding draped in a Santorini sunset? Yes!! We were treated like royalty at Pirgos(which is saying something compared to service experienced elsewhere in Greece), we ordered far more than we could consume (frankly, I'd be surprised if no one did - the food is fresh and uncomplicated). The view from this place is simply unsurpassable - the entire island unfolding below us in a bed of fairy lights...a touch of breeze on a very warm night. I'd swear I was in heaven. Truly memorable for a luxury traveler...
