This place is terrible!! They supposedly offer apartments, this place just has a mini-refrigerator, not even a microwave. Our "apartment" is really a motel room with a pull-out couch. The internet pictures show the pool over looking water. The water is about a half mile down a hill, the pool overlooks a vacant lot where stray cats are fighting constantly! The pool closes at 9:00 here, but yet the pool stays well lit, that was a huge disappointment!!! We were at the pool our first evening and the desk worker came out and told my kids to be quieter because she had difficulty talking on the phone, she has been very rude. The only restroom by the pool is through the lobby, but don�t get a drop of water on the floor, the owner lady will not be happy with you. In addition, this hotel has security that is tighter than at any government agency. In order for the air-conditioning to work in the rooms, every door and window must be locked shut. While I understand this, it is not possible to even access the balcony to sit on it in the evening while your room cools down before bedtime, because as soon as the balcony door opens, the air conditioning shuts off. Even if it is opened for 20 seconds to put a wet swimsuit on the balcony. Our bedroom and "apartment" is absolute hot this evening as we wait for our air conditioning to finally cool off the room and we feel as though we are prisoners in the room, because we cannot leave or the air conditioning will shut off!! The resort is not IN Fira, it is on the back side of Fira, a good hike into the city center where any food would be available. This place is absolutely not suitable for a family with children and is not appropriate for non-European travelers. Don�t make a noise during the 2-6 rest time, because even though the majority of Greeks ignore this law, foreigners beware, the owner is very rude and will make your stay uncomfortable. Do NOT Stay here!!! This owner is linked to three other resorts on Santorini, Blue Sky, Hotel Irini, etc, they are part of the same group. Beware of them all.
