My wife and I booked this hotel based on the photos and description on the website. We arrived late in the afternoon of the first of three nights we were booked into this hotel. After we had signed in we were led out of the hotel and walked a hundred metres up the road to another accommodation building and a room was opened for us. Naturally I refused to accept this as it was not the building we had booked into and it would also mean we had to do the same trek to make use of the hotel's pool and to have our breakfast. The staff said that the room we were offered was part of the hotel and we still had access to the hotel facilities. Only after a lot of complaining did they agree to move us into the hotel building we had booked into, but not on the first night as they had no rooms available. I was not happy and said they should at least give us a half price room-rate for this first night. They begrudgingly agreed. We had wasted a hour discussing this and our first night in Santorini was not as expected. I suspect that the next day, when we got into the main building, someone else was probably put into the "overflow" building and that this happens all the time. It is ethically wrong to advertise a place using photos that may not reflect the building that one has booked into. The second complaint about this hotel is the breakfast which is served on a tray with the minimum of food and like in a boarding school. One is reminded of the show "Oliver" if one were to ask for more. Having got into the right room, we were delighted with the accommodation and facilities and the staff, with the above qualifications. The driver who drove us to and from the hotel was very good.
