Went to Santorini for 10 days with my wife( i accompanied her as she had to attend a conference) and 1 year old son. We stayed at a place i found off the internet called Sunny Villas. Coming from an island roughly with the same climate, i thought i would get more of the same. Weather was like home, but the views were fantastic. What really made my holiday however is Andreas the owner of Sunny Villas, and his brother Michalis. They were ALWAYS there for us, even when both my son and wife fell ill in the middle of the night. Andreas was just so good. He worried and tried his best to even do the impossible for me. He took me to a pharmacy in the middle of the night and then got me a late night crepe ( i hadnt eaten) and didnt want anythhing in return. He did more than that. Imerovigli has many steps, but not too many to his place. However he was always there to help me carry the buggy with our son to our car. I just cannot fault the personal service this man gives to his guests. Even the places he recommeded to us for lunch or dinner were just fantastic. The best were Atmosphere in Kamari, Taverna Criticos on thhe way to Kamari, and the incomparable Archipelagos. Truly fantastic mals we had there, The locals eat there too, so they were bound to be ok.
Sunny Villas itself is just 16 clean apartments, all with a lovely view and really cool terraces and with a pool and bar area to die for.You wont want to go anywhere but just lounge around the place. Andreas his brother and his staff treat you as one of the family, without being intrusive and with the greatest of respect. I just wish there were more like them in the many hotels I have frequented, and i do travel a lot. Sometimes the attitude of the place you stay in make the difference between a special holiday and a truly magnificent one, and Sunny Villas and its owners is one such place. One word of advice, however. There is a nearby restaurant owned by someone else close by, called the blue note. DO NOT eat there. Its just a rip off, owned by some sort of Greek American. it has a nice view, and very doubtful food. Otherwise Santorini is just a very nice island albeit a bit on the expensive side.

My boyfriend and I stayed 3 nights at this awesome hotel and it was our favorite of our two week trip. The rooms were modest, but contained everything needed. I felt like for the price we paid, it was a great deal.
The best part is the incredible view. We sat out on our balcony and they bring you breakfast every morning. We'd sit in the evenings with drinks and snacks (there is a nice mini-market nearby) and watch the beautiful sunsets.
The hotel is down considerable stairs, but the views and solitude are worth it. There are several restaurants in walking distance and we never had too much trouble catching the bus back to town. Being in Imerovigli, it was a little quieter than Fira and with a better view.
All the staff was eager to share their love for the island and help us with anything we needed. The pool is small, but all you really need to cool off. We had a great time here and I'd recommend this place to anybody.

My wife and I stayed 3 nights at Sunny Villas in July, and were extremely pleased with the hotel. The hotel is located in the town on Imerovigli which is 2km (30 min walk) from the main town of Fira. Imerovigli is the islands highest village and it is also has much less traffic than Fira. This results in Sunny Villas excellent views and relaxed atmosphere.
The service is excellent, the rooms are comfortable and inviting, and the pool side bar is a wonderful place to enjoy a drink.
We recommend this hotel to anyone traveling to Santorini.

My girlfriend and I stated at Sunny Villas. We were asked if we could change rooms, as another couple could not walk to their specific suite that was situated down the mountain. We got a free upgrade and even got closer to the wonderful Cliffside view of Santorini. Service was great, and the view from our suite was incredible; the sunset view was breathtaking. Santorini is an Island based on its majestically volcanic view and romantic sunset. Sunny Villas gives you both, a place to see an incredible romantic sunset and a view of the Island that is simply wonderful. Throw in courteous hospitality and you get yourself a nice time at Sunny Villas.

It was great to sit outside and see the sunset. They have a great view!!!
I was just a little bit disappointed with the room, it was not so good for the price we paid. Bed was terrible! But the view was worth anything else.

A place to relax and enjoy romantic afternoons with the splendid views of the sunset along with the superb clear blue of the Aegean sea and the famous Skaros just in front of you.
We have enjoyed our stay at Sunny Villas and we do recommend the place to anybody travelling for short or long stay. The service is excellent and Andreas is always there for you.
