I recently rented a car from Lignos, which is of poor quality. After driving it in Santorini for approx less than 20 kilometers, the car stalled going uphill. Total charge was debited to my account. I reasoned with them that I am willing to settle and pay my part but not the whole amount, given the wear and tear. Given the terrain and multitude of drivers that used the car, why am I being charged for the full cost of repair. Beware of cheap rentals. There are other car rental company in the area that looks reputable.
